Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. How long do residents stay at The Ranch?
The average length of stay for the students at The Ranch is 6 to 9 months. This amount of time allows the student to complete The Ranch’s VI Level System. The Ranch’s mission is to get the students back home as soon as possible after a true "change of heart" has taken place.

2. Do the residents attend public school or do you offer schooling at The Ranch?
The Ranch provides an on-campus school to all of it’s students.

3. What does a child's stay at The Ranch cost?
The monthly tuition is $5,000.  The Ranch is not insurance qualified so parents are not able to get their insurance companies to pay for services. On occasion we have partial scholarships available.

4. What does the Counseling program at The Ranch involve?
Each student meets on an individual regular basis with their Ranch counselor. In addition, residents are involved in group therapy meetings several times a week.  Parents are contacted by their child’s counselor with counseling sessions conducted by conference call.  During visitation times parents also meet with their child’s counselor.  

5. What types of activities does The Ranch have for the residents?
The Ranch’s activities include horseback riding, basketball, waterskiing, fishing, camping, flag football, weight lifting, billiards, table tennis, etc..

6. How many kids does The Ranch accommodate at one time?
The Ranch has a maximum capacity of 21 residents.
